Cleaning Pellets
Tipton Cleaning Pellets are manufactured from heavy felt and provide a consistent fit in lands and grooves of firearm barrels than traditional cleaning patches. These pellets remove dirt and lead residue from the barrel with ease. With regular use they will help maintain accurate performance of every firearm.
- Attach cleaning pellet onto the caliber specific jag. Using a twisting motion will help ensure the pellet stays in place.
- Infuse the cleaning pellet with your favorite Tipton gun oil or solvent.
- Run the pellet down the barrel 1-2 strokes. Repeat this process with a new pellet until barrel is clean.
- Start with a smaller pellet and work your way up to find the ideal size that provides a close clean without getting lodged in the barrel.

The is perfect for the .22 cleaning pellets. I like how you can adjust the pellet pressure by screwing the pellet further on the shaft, expanding the pellet.....great design.

Somewhere in the specs, I read this had an 8–32 thread. It does not, I think it’s 5–40. I’m not returning it because it cost $2.99, but be aware it will not fit most cleaning rods. I am only going to give it one star because this information was not clear. At present it seems they have the correct information, but you really have to look hard to find it. When I purchased it, the information was dead wrong.

I really like the Tipton pellets, but their pellet jag needs improvements.The pellet wont stay on if you pull it back through the bore. There's no way to keep tension on the pellet so it pushes against the bore tightly. Needs to be nickel plated for aggressive bore solvents.

fits the cleaning rod well...and it may well work beautifully with the Tipton brand of cleaning pellets. Unfortunately that was not the case with the VFG pellets at least in .22 caliber. The pellets are not well secured.

Fits both bore and pellets fine. Quality jag. However the pellets will not stay on the jag if it is pulled back through the bore. A one way only device. disappointing.
