I suspected this was rather silly and just as labor intensive as regular chopping, but I found that it produced a chopped salad at the end with much less mess and work. Even big solid tomatoes disappeared neatly into the mix. Only for single salads I should think.

I love this product and it doesn't disappoint. It does what it's supposed to do. If I were to rate this product from 1 to 5 with 5 being the highest rating, this products rating would be a 5!!!I will recommend this product to others.

I throw all my ingredients into the bowl, flip it over and chop away. I don't know I survived before this product. It makes salads a breeze. The portable size makes clean up a breeze.

I was skeptical about the Tofern Snap-on Salad Cutter Bowl and Juicer Vegetable Chopper and Cutter, but was pleasantly surprised at how well it performed. I often eat a salad for lunch, so the single serving bowl is just right for me.I put a variety of salad fixings in the bowl as you can see from the photo (leaf lettuce, jicama, snap peas, cherry tomatoes, and half an avocado). I used a large, very sharp knife. I think the sharp knife is super important. I sliced through the slots (which makes a satisfying crunchy cutting sound), rotated a quarter of a turn and sliced again. I didn’t do all of the slots. I’m sure I would have gotten small pieces if I had. As you can see from my second picture, I got great results. It missed one of the grapes, but I think that was user error.I didn’t try the juicer, but it looks well constructed and I can see how there is a moat area for the juice to accumulate and a spout for pouring. It will come in handy for lemons that are too big for my handheld citrus juicer.The reason I took off a star is because after use I noticed that I could see my cut lines on the green base. I could even see a few tiny pieces of plastic peeling off. This means that I am probably eating a very small amount of plastic (which the listing says is “food grade”) with my salad and that it will wear out fairly quickly. I think for many people, this is a big red flag, but I am willing to eat plastic for convenience.This really did save me time. Clean up was easy. I expect to use this every time I am making a single-serving salad.

Really only big enough for salad for one. Mine didn’t come with the juicer so I returned. Looking for larger sized bowl.
