So, a couple of years ago, I installed a toilet with the state-of-the-art "Vormax" flush system, and not a year afterward, water began to leak past the flapper seals into the bowl, causing the toilet to keep having to fill itself back up periodically without being used. I purchased another brand of these flapper seal replacements and was good for about another 8-9 months, at which point, the same problem occurred. I bought these, and they literally didn't make it a day. I don't know if it was because they were packaged practically folded in half, lending themselves to not being able to effectuate a seal against a flat surface or what, but I just gave up and replaced the toilet with one that has standard guts. If you buy a toilet with the kind of guts these are intended to fix, be prepared to buy lots of these (perhaps other brands).
