I bought this drain plug 6 months ago or so and it fits my cartridge filter perfectly. Make sure it is compatible with your particular cartridge filter.It comes with o-rings and is exactly as expected.Mine is going strong after six months, my first one lasted 3.5 years through the hot sun and fierce weather. I expect the same from this one.

This worked for my c filter. After a few years of putting the cap on and off when cleaning, the plastic was warped, so I needed a replacement.It was easy to use, and doesn’t feel as strong as the original, but it worked fine so far. The o rings help and you get two!I had to tighten it because it leaked at first, but a few more turns and the drips stopped.

Fit perfect for pentair fns plus 60 drain plug. Wish clear to only use one o ring and save the other for future. Suggest always have spare parts. Pentair wants $37 for this part. Pentair one broke off and pain to extract the part broken inside but got a locking spreader and that worked. Every time I clean my filters, I pull the drain plug and need to really fight to get it back into place without leaks. These replacements are fantastic, and if you use them with channel-lock pliers, you'll get a great fit every time. They are inexpensive, so I just use a new plug every time I clean the filters.

i didn't pay close enough attention... o-ring is too small. i just noticed the slow leak and when i removed it, the threads were damaged, too. after putting it back in, the leak is MUCH worse. cheap garbage like the OEM, but even worse (if you could believe something is worse than Pentair).
