Yarn too thick and won't stay in.I'm not happy with this.

This was a flop due to the yarn being too thick to move freely through the needle. It caused it to pull every stitch out as you moved along the lines. Waste of time..The scissors included couldn't cut damp tissue paper. The needle threader wasn't quite long enough either and busted right away. I had to use a piece of silver wire I found..Loved the size and super cute design and colors though.

Super frustrated with this. I was so excited to begin punch needling this being my first project. Its extremely frustrating and has diacouraged me on my very first project. I tried over and over to get this to work but the yarn is way to thick so it doesn't move freely thought the needle therefore pulling each and every stitch out as you go. So if you want this piece you'll have to purchase a decent punch needle to go with it or each and every color of yarn in a thinner size because the needle included is clearly not for this thick of yarn/thread and needs improvement. The canvas not being tight enough could be an issue as well therefore not holding each loop in place. You would have to physically pull the thread on the back with each punch to create every.single. loop... so irritating

This kit is of a nice large grouping of flowers design and the yarns are nice earthy colors. The design is clearly marked on punch cloth which is pre mounted on a wood frame that is about 15.75"h x 11.75"w. There are two pages of clearly stated instructions with pictures but, there are typos. Included are two sizes of punch needles and threader, snips that don't seem to cut the yarn very well and, a plastic yarn needle.
