I shopped around for a rain chain, and at first didn't notice the lengths were so different. It was important to find this very long length. Also, the design is attractive, elegant and discrete. With the hook at the top I was able to use a long reach pole that I usually use to change light bulbs in ceiling chandeliers to get it high enough to hook over the gutter. The color compliments our house's paint color perfectly. It came in two pieces, so there was only one connection I had to assemble, which was easy. I am very glad I got this rain chain. I haven't had rain since buying it, so I'm unsure whether it will solve the problem of rain pouring down over the downspout. But it can't hurt, and looks great! Recommended.

I wasn’t sure if the color was going to match the color of our newly painted gutter and actually wasn’t trying to match the color. I just liked the design. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived and actually matched our color. I would have still loved it either way!

We got early snow in Michigan and the water froze on this chain and it broke into separate pieces from the weight of the ice. I will be replacing this with a downspout soon.

I have not owned this long enough to review how it stands up to the elements, however, it seems made well, and it looks really nice. I am not disappointed.
