What can I say? Easy install, great quality, looks amazing, and took about maybe 75% off my string chatter. Release sound is more solid, and WAY less feedback from the bowstring on my 58" Regime Black Bear recurve. Plus, that color pattern on em is fantastic.

Like most fur silencers, these are great for a tradition look on a recurve or longbow. They do an excellent job of dampening the sound of the bowstring and reducing some vibration. This particular listing is also a great value, so win!Pro tip; some people love the Kong strup silencer, but it does add mass to your string and therefore reduces feet per second (fps) a bit. You can cut these straps in half and get a smaller "ball" shape that reduces sound and vibration almost as well but at a smaller fps sacrifice.

Was easy to install. Does dampen the sound and adds appeal. The fur does not shed easy and it does stretch well. Would recommend for any bow enthusiast.

Excellent product, made my bow significantly quieter. Almost completely eliminated string noise. have had for over month and shot over 3000 arrows with them on the string, rain, snow, and shine. The only issue I had, which was my fault, was that one started to unravel on me. However I had it going the wrong way to the rotation of the string. Make sure when you put them in you have them rotated the correct way and you will never have that issue.

Work great! They are easy to install and great quality! These are the second set I've ordered and I'll keep buying them for every new string I get. I've installed these on both endless loop and Flemish twist strings and have had no problems! They also look really nice when compared next to a few beaver hair silencers I have.

I have tried a number of string dampeners/silencers for my recurve bow. Some did the job, others not so much. When I read the description of the Toparchery Otter Hide, I was a little skeptical. The description used all the same words the others used - the best, extremely quiet, easy to install, that sort of thing. But in this case, the description was absolutely accurate. The otter hide took only a couple of minutes each to install and the results were amazing, My bow has never been quieter, nor has it ever been as vibration-free. And the hide is quite an attractive color, too boot. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend it. Indeed, I have already ordered a second pair for my other bow!
