First time user making tortillas with MASA. Some online directions didn't work. Wax paper and a finger tip of veggie oil works great for us. Don't try and make paper thin tortilla's and pre make your balls of MASA . Have fun.

It doesn’t press out the dough flat enough for tortillas. It does flatten, but if you put too much pressure, it will make a whole where the handle is to flatten. It won’t stay open, so it is cumbersome to use. I will be returning.

The pressing plates are only 7 1/4 inches in diameter, not 8 inches. I am going to return this item

Easy to use product but barely flattens dough. I even tried putting pieces of cardboard to help press but even that didn’t work.
