Attention: This Kit Does Not Work With Latching Solenoid Gas Valve Systems Please Read Your Fireplace Directions For Correct Application Before Purchase.
• This remote control system is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system.
• This remote control system requires (4) “AAA” and (4) “AA” batteries to power the transmitter and receiver
Note : This Kit Does Not Include The Batteries
LEARNING TRANSMITTER TO RECEIVER ( Manufacture have done the default learning settings user can skip learning if not changed the dip switches)
-1-The transmitter privacy (DIP) Switches are preset at the factory. Setting the 4 bits DIP Switches on transmitter to select a security code. ( remote dip switches located on the side end of the remote)
-2- Put the receiver slide switch to “REMOTE” location. Using a small screwdriver or end of a paper clip gently press and hold the ‘LEARN ‘button on the receiver to accept the transmitter security code upon initial use, when you release the LEARN button the receiver will emit an audible “beep” sounds.
-3- After the receiver emits the beep” sounds. Press the transmitter Mode/Set button or press (On thermos OFF ) button of touch screen . The receiver will emit several beeps indicating that the transmitter’s code has been accepted into the receiver.
Note: If matching failed from the the first attempt please repeat step 1-3

General Information
• Always check the appliance home owner’s manual for additional information, or warnings regarding accessory installation before connecting this remote control system
• This remote control system is designed for use with a millivolt or 24V gas valve system.
• Do not use this remote control system on applications with voltages above 24 Volts AC/DC and 1 amp current.
• Do not short (or jumper) across the gas valve terminals to test the remote control installation.
NOTE : Due to sensitive temperature monitoring components in the transmitter , allow the transmitter 15 minutes to stabilize the room temperature before accurate room temperature are displayed
• Do not use 2 or more remote control systems in the same area with the same dip switch settings , as they will communicate with each other . This may cause the appliance to not work properly
• The user hand don’t close to temperature sensor location to avoid it influence the detect temperature of sensor

I used this on a Jotul Sabago gas stove, it works as it should for far less money than its competitors ! Easy to read, blue liminus background and very accurate !

Simple to install under the fireplace – just make sure to take pictures of the wire placement before you start unplugging stuff, then install the new one just like the old one was.Remote works well – works like the previous one. But looks a whole lot better. Still doesn’t look as modern as my other remotes for TV and stuff… But there don’t seem to be high-quality design fireplace remotes available on the market. Timer function is useful.
