We got this to have as an extra “cheapo” halter to have around while my daughter was training her wild Mustang. It ended up being her favorite to use on him & has held up well. I’m about to order a few more to have for some of our other horses. Great value for the money. Fits great on all of our horses, we have a Mustang & 4 quarter horses.

Pleasantly surprised by this halter. Has a good weight and feel, sturdy but not bulky. The brown looks fantastic on my chestnut mare. I will say that it fits my Saddlebred mare perfectly but I doubt it would work for my QH...it is a little on the small side. (Saddlebred is 15.2 hands 1050#s.) Halter has room for adjustments if you wanted to move the knots.

Thinner halter than the one I have but not too thin which is perfect ! The loops to attach to a lead are not so thick that it’s difficult. Excellent

I guess you get what you pay for but a rope halter should hold up. And you shouldn’t have to pay much for rope but whatever. I literally just use this halter to get my mule out of the pasture. That’s it. She’s a puppy dog so it’s not a hard use. And the halter stays in the barn 24/7 otherwise. Needless to say the metal pieces came off the ends and the rope is fraying and I’ve used it literally 10 times. Just do yourself a favor and don’t get this one and buy another brand. I’m not sure if this thing was even meant to be used. The other brands I’ve had lasted for Years for heavy training work.

I am extremely happy with my purchase thus far ! The color of the item is exactly as described, vibrant and bright. The rope is nice and sturdy, it is a bit stiff but that is what I wanted as it will clearly loosen with time. I will say that the knots in the halter are a bit loose but I can tighten them. I feel like the loose knots may be there so you can adjust the halter to your specific horse. I have only used my new halter once so I cannot speak to the longevity on this item. I will come back and give an update as I continue to use it. As of this moment I am quite satisfied and feel like I got a very good deal for the price I paid. Also I think the orange looks great on my baby 😁🐎Thanks Tough 1 !

Good for the price. It's quite stiff and to large for my smaller horse. The ends are not clipped or crimped together like most halters are but instead have a soft rubber almost like electrical tape. I'm not sure if I like this or not. I have seen horses get hit in the eye with the metal before but not sure how well the plastic will hold up. You get what you pay for. For the price...it's a nice halter.
