For my PRE very very big headed stallion, this fit perfect! Very durable for sure, super functional with adjustable length around the nose area as well as behind ears. The braid work is very appealing & looks very clean. It’s a nice darker brown color.I wouldn’t suggest fr smaller breed horses, as it is very large. But, for us that always just find smaller breed halters, and can never find one to fit our big headed boys, this is perfect and I’m so happy with it. Much better than expected. With all its functionality, it’s also very nice looking. Solid & on the fancier side of hardware.

Really pretty halter, nice quality for the price. I bought one for each horse for ‘play clothes’ because I like the safety of leather for turnout. but it’s so pretty I can’t seem to turn them out with these. I may save them to wear at horse shows.

I really liked this halter. Pretty and unique. Stiff out of the package but softened up after use. Would have give it 5 stars, but the left side metal buckle snapped in about 3 pieces. Mind you I am aware that my horse can destroy halters over time; however, this is more of a defective buckle. It literally fell apart. The halter is only used to lead and is not a turn out halter. Unfortunately, Amazon says I am about 23 days past my return date.

This a really nice halter I do live it. However it fits more like an oversized halter. Its a little large on my horse who normally fits a normal horse size.

Very nice expencive looking halter for not an expencive price! I just wish it had a clip at the cheek for easy on/off with out un doing the buckle each time. Other then that its awsome.

You get what you pay for. My horse had this halter a grand total of two weeks before he snapped it by flinging his head a little too hard (not even a full pulling back). "Fine leather" it is not. It was so stiff coming out of the package that I had to soak it in leather conditioner for an HOUR before I could even undo the buckle. The braiding is not leather, it's plastic, and after two weeks of use it was scratched and not very attractive at all. The stiff leather did not get any better with added leather care (saddle soap, conditioner, etc). It was not used hard, kept indoors, and was taken care of. It comes down to bad quality and you are much better off spending the extra few dollars on a different brand. I have never gotten a decent Tough-1 product and this is the final straw- I will never buy anything from them again. If you do buy this halter, make sure you only use it in situations where the horse's safety is not at risk when they snap it. It is also too large for a 10 year old large Quarter Horse, I had to punch two extra holes in it before it fit. Save yourself the hassle and money and buy something that isn't Tough-1.
