First, I'm not an electrician. I do a lot of wiring & maintenance on our farm and home. For my needs, this pouch was the best compromise of $ and features. I use the strap to carry around and then set the pouch down where I'm working. The flip-out stand flap works, but you've got to flip it out manually or the pouch will fall over. I'm not sold on their clip system mainly because I don't like that much weight hanging on a belt. I also have a carpenter pouch that I'll use for hanging drywall and assembling my greenhouse, where I expect the belt/clip system to be invaluable for carrying screws & bolts that must be within reach in awkward situations. The fabric seems very durable and I expect it will last my lifetime for non-professional use.The main section has dividers that help organize the tools at the top, but shorter tools might be able to tip over and get lost below. Not a problem for my loadout. I kinda like the fact that the bottom is open since I throw in misc items in that I'd otherwise have to carry in another bag - assorted wire nuts, a few screws & nails.I like the three outside pouches for my strippers, needle nose pliers and cutters. I didn't find any special use for the flap covered side pouch, so it holds some random markers and pointy things. I thought it was too small for my meter (Klein CL800), but I just tried and it does fit tightly. I think I'll still carry the meter separately since there's no room here for probes. Last, I got an 18650 flashlight to fit in the resizable velcro 'sleeve' next to the flap pouch.

This is the perfect tool pouch for someone who needs tools for multiple trades in the same pouch. It has so much room and the variety of pockets works great for all my basic wiring, and DYI tool jobs around my ranch. This thing keeps me from constantly running back and forth to my toolbox from my field. I looked for a long time before buying, this is the real deal. Great job Toughbuilt!

Like this much better than the smaller version of this bag. Can actually hold one or 2 decent meters. Not a perfect layout but since it goes with the Toughbuilt system for belt, shoulder strap and wall mount, I can live with it.With essentials , there is still room to add in parts in a couple pockets. I really like being able to just sit this aside ready to go rather than pulling something out of a smaller bag to make room for something else when needed. Guessing at some point I will break a plastic belt clip but not worried since manufactured states "All ToughBuilt products are protected by our LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY to the original purchaser against defects in material or workmanship. "Went with the padded belt rather than just the web belt. Use it also for carpenter type bags which can get heavy with drills, etc. Really like a nice leather bag but these are just to versatile to not like better for actual work.

Bra och robust väska men fickorna för skruvmejslarna är dåliga. Jag använder inte dom. Det finns flera öglor som är onödiga. Väskan är till för dom små jobben och där är den bra. Det är bra med snabbfästet till verktygsbältet.

For over 24 years in IT/Telecom Infrastructure I have used a lot of pouches, bags, toolboxes for my tools and equipment. Regardless fact, that most of ToughBuilt stuff is made for handyman, electrical or construction workers and so far haven't seen specific sets for so called low voltage engineers and technicians, I've managed to "adapt" couple of different ToughBuilt pouches for LV use and way more better then other manufacturer ones. Here are some key advantages from my point of view:1. Quick release clip - very practical for "field operations". We have double sets of belt clips, one set inside car on sliding holder plate and another on belt, so I can quickly take off my pouch from car and put on my belt... most of other pouches have either J hook type belt holders (deform belts), velcro attached wings you pass through belt and stick to pouches back (can't hold pouches when they got heavy with tools) and worst ones are with pass through belt loops, so you can't remove them without taking off the belt.2. Stand legs - in pretty much situations i still need my pouch with tools, but if working close to ground level (sitting or kneeling) it is very useful. Also, if I'm performing certain work and don't need pouch (actually heavy weight on my belt) I don't have to put it on the floor laying down, so tools can fall off, neither looking for wall or other support to put it against, just putting it standing on its own....3. Durability and quality of material - you can find a lot of leftover or removed screws and other sharp materials in my pouch (drill bits, butterfly bits, even most of LV screwdrivers are pretty sharp PH0,PH00, 1/16 and 3/32 flats) and even after 18 month of use, my other pouch is in "almost new" shape in and out... the only thing broke so far was 1belt clip which I have screw mounted in car(and yes, belt clip design allows to put it on belt, on stationary plate or even screw it to surfaces) ... it broke in weakest points of joints around top metal stick carrying my pretty heavy pouch (10 lbs +) whilst driving at relatively high speed (compared to walking ;) ) over famous NY potholes and bumps ;)4. Variety of shapes, sizes and capacities - as mentioned, those pouches are made with "customer point of view" in mind and designed perfectly matching most of your needs... you can find suitable and preferable to your specific needs one - from wide thin to narrow thick, small compact, with inside "strap pockets" or variety of outside screw holders, pockets, tape chains, tape measure holders, hammer hooks, drill holders etc...The only con, so far is they have no pouches designed around most of LV tools and equipment use in mind (hope they'll have them soon), but still managed to adapt 2 or 3 different models for LV use.

Before I purchased this tool belt I saw a couple negative reviews in regards to useless pockets or the belt being not as functional as they’d like it to be. I’m happy to say that we didn’t have the same experience! My husband is an electrical apprentice and it works perfect for his day to day activities. With the right organization It fits all of his tools and devices that he has to bring with him, he also loves the fact that it has a kickstand and you can set the tool belt on it when you remove it from your waist. He utilizes it a lot when he is working in tight spaces where he may not fit with the tool belt on his person but it can sit upright and can still be accessed. It also has a shoulder strap that he hasn’t utilized yet but he’s looking forward to using it the next time he is on a job that requires him to climb a ladder. So far this belt has been ideal and he is extremely happy with it, if anything changes I’ll update this review!
