It came as described and would of worked had that been the issue with my trunk. I sent it back due to not needing it. Will buy again if I need it in the future

I'm no where close to being a mechanic but this was an easy to assemble. It took less than 5 minutes (youtube helped).At first I thought it didn't work as the trunk didn't lock when first installed. I had a family friend took a look at it and he added some washer and it worked great. I assembled the piece correctly but the alignment was still off, a commen problem with the toyota corolla '03.A smooth close, no more slamming.Family friend said the old trunk lock might have worked with the washer trick but given this car is over 20 years old replacement seemed warranted.

Fits perfect, easy to install, saves hundreds of dollars in repairs probably. My trunk release latch wasn't working well and then the trunk wouldn't latch shut. After driving around with a bungee holding the trunk closed, I ordered a replacement latch. Installation is so simple. Just watch a video. I was done in a few minutes and the trunk works.

I just received my trunk latch for my 2005 Toyota Corolla. The product is junk ,cheap plasticine metal is trash. I closed my trunk one time and it would not open. I finally got it open only to find it was shot broke the first time use. I put my old one back on for now but this pure trash a total waste of my money never again. I will find better product in a salvage yard. Totally discussed with it. Never again
