Para algo sencillo funciona bien. Los bornes donde conectas la carga son de mala calidad.

I ordered the pre-wired version of this switch. Basically, all I had to do was run my service wires through the bottom conduit holes and into the bottom ports of the breakers. These breakers are arranged so that you CAN NOT run both power inputs at the same time and that is a very good thing. I tested this and the only positions these switches can be placed in is:Both off, Line on / Gen off, Line off/ Gen on.This prevents the generator from back feeding into the the Line in. This is very important in a power off situation, you don't want to electrocute a power service worker because you allowed your generator to backfeed into the power lines. You "can" build one of these fairly easily, but since this box unit is only about $55, it's more than worth buying this pre-build set.

No instructions, not made of high quality material but for the money it’s ok.

I'm in the process of building a battery backup to handle some of our appliances and outlets. This switch has two breakers. Both breakers can be off, but only one can be on. Flip the main power breaker up and this will force the generator/backup power breaker next to it to shut off. Very nice, safe and easily added to my configuration. The quality of this switch feels solid and should last for some time!

This looks like a nice and solid transfer switch between two input power sources with power indicators and short-circuit protection at a good price. It is designed to ensure protection against the trouble of having both sources being put through at the same time.I got the prewired version, and the connections seem to be robust and accurate. The box looks like it would protect the circuits from the elements as stated in the description and it's nice that it comes with a see-through window as well. The only problem I have with it is that I don't see any UL certification, so that'll be an issue with the home inspector.

I got the "prewired" version and this is simply two breakers with an interlock so if you go to turn on one, the other switches off. That makes sure you only have one source (line power or generator power) feeding your home or circuits at a time. I suppose they chose to call this "63 amp switch" to make it come out as "15,000 watt capacity", yet it seems odd to me for someone to market a weird number like "63 amp" rather than "60" or such. The "prewired" has added wires off each breaker to a common place for you to wire up the house power feed. Inside the box are 2 "ground" strips for neutral junctions or grounds with spots for 5 wires on each. The box only has 1/2 inch knockouts on the top and bottom, yet those seem small (especially if needing 6 gauge wires or bigger for 60A), so that's part why I dropped a star. Others commented of no UL labels that may also be true. Many when adding things for a generator feed will be adding a breaker box to have "critical" circuits on that you want powered by a generator. If you'll be doing that, many boxes can be set up with interlocked breakers in it (so why buy this box and the other when you can do it all in one?) Yet if you already have a subpanel, then this can be the "switch" in between. So check out what's best for your needs (or ask an electrical worker).
