I got this display as an art piece/decor for a whimsically gothic house. It is really unique and cute! The casing is clear plastic resin and the teeth are white plastic resin. The hinge is a little wobbly and loose, but once propped open and in a display case it looks quality. When closed the teeth do not clash and it closes completely. Not sure how scientifically useful this is, but as decor it is a unique piece that you can really dress up in a black shadow box.

I got this for homeschooling. My kids loved it. Made very well, and fun to teach and learn about.

The teeth in this model are poorly placed, not indicating full depth of root placement or an accurate bite for opposing teeth. While this model might be good for a quick review during an exam and discussion with pet owners, it does NOT accurately depict the dept of actual tooth roots that may need to be removed or show how deep the pain of tooth root infection may affect the feline patient being discussed.
