I have spent years trying to keep my garbage secure from the animals that live in the woods behind my house. That looked like placing bricks, patio chairs, 2x4s...basically, anything that had any amount of weight on it....to keep the lid closed. Oh, and duct tape, too. I have seen these trash can locks before, but I have hesitated to purchase them because most of them required drilling a hole in the garbage can. Not these. They attach to anything that a hook can grab. And they are adjustable. There is NO WAY an animal is getting into my trash again! I am so excited to have these. Amazing, amazing, amazing!! This is a SOLID 5-star product!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This trash can straps fit out trash cans great. I was hesitant on getting any, but love these. A lot better than the brick we kept putting on top of the trash cans to keep the raccoons out.
