I got these for our emergency kit. These fold down into a small package and the mechanism seems very solid. My only complaint is it is a little tricky at first to work the folding but I’m sure over time it will become easier. It comes with its own tool to tighten the scissors should they become too loose. No case so I just stored it in a mini ziploc and everything fits perfectly. The finger holes are large and fit my big fingers just fine. It cuts through things easily.

A nicely made and heavy duty feeling pair of trauma shears. The shears cut very well, easily cutting thru everything over tried them on. The included ring cutter is a solid cutter that cut right thru a piece of 1/4 mild steel bar, which is stronger than most any ring. The shears fold down nicely to fit well into the included holster to allow for easy carrying, with the size being similar to a multi tool holster. A good addition to my emergency kit!

I bought these to use at work, as I am also about to go into LPN school. The design seems great, however, I think the holster doesn't work. But there is a clip that works great. Due to the thickness of the bottom blade I am sure it will be great for cutting through thick fabrics.

These unfold very easily, then with a couple button pushes fold back together easily. All the parts are well fitted, and a torx wrench is included for disassembly and cleaning. The edge is sharp plus added deep serations. The seatbelt cut hook flips out easily.I was surprised the case goes with handles in first, but it holds the shears in securely with no sharp edges exposed.

These are a decent copy of the Leatherman Raptor folding trauma shears. They were very stiff when I first got them, but applying some knife oil to the center pivot point has them working nicely. They definitely cut through thick denim and leather test material well enough that I'm comfortable carrying them in my bag for first aid actions.

This emergency multi-tool is mainly in the shape of trauma shears but has other tools and blades attached to it similar to a Gerber or Swiss Army knife. It includes a hard plastic holster that can be clipped to pants or a bag. It contains things that would be needed in an emergency, such as a tool to turn on or off an oxygen tank, a sharp blade for cutting a stuck seat belt, and of course the all-purpose, high torque trauma shears that can cut through almost anything. The tool takes a little getting used to as it unfolds in an asymmetrical way. It can seem kind of awkward but once you utilize all of the included parts a few times, you will realize how much utility you are getting out of such a small item. The case that it comes in is perfectly sized and shaped and the tool clicks into place without issue.I highly recommend this tool for people in EMS or those who drive long distances or deal with the public. You never know when you will need some of these very specialized tools and here you have them within reach, which is the most important part. If a seat belt is stuck and won't release, you will not be able to travel far to cut yourself out!Excellent, well made tool overall. The shears are very strong and I have already experimented on them with different materials, and the other tools are all well sized and they can do the job that is advertised.

These Trauma Shears are very sturdily made and sure seem like they're up to some tough assignments. They fold up to fit in a small space, like a pocket in the car door or a glove compartment or console. They fold/unfold easily and when unfolded the handles give good leverage for cutting things like seat belts or thick clothing. There's a special little nib on the base of one handle that is for emergency breaking of car windows. And there's a cutting tool they call a ring cutter which I'm sure could also cut wires and other metal objects in an emergency situation. Includes a 5cm (2 inch) ruler and there's an oxygen tank wrench. Overall, I'm going to feel better having this in our family car, just in case. Recommended.
