Antenna works great. Picked up signal in areas where my phone used to go to sos mode. I’m very happy with it.Definitely need to make the outside antenna as high as possible to get the best results.

It went in easy enough. Worked first time. Mostly 4 Bars in a location that only gave me mostly 1 bar before!Hard to believe this. Antenna looks bad ass on the front of my NuCamp T@B 32 BoonDock on top of my bike rack.Customer support held my hand on all my questions and helped me improve my system. Even more!!!I chatted with them on the Signal Supervisor app AND via regular text. Never have I had such PROMPT help. And I probably could have done it also with the instructions and videos in the app. But I'm the kinda of customer that needs my hand held throughout the process. And the install went super quick. And I plan on replacing the mount with the part pictured when I get it from another company. I'll try and update this review if it works well. I shouldn't need this plate if it works. And if I keep the plate, it gets a second hole drilled through it and another bolt or two.

Unboxing and Set UpThe HiBoost kit includes everything you need to get started, including the outside omni directional antenna, amplifier, and interior antenna. The setup process is straightforward, but it will likely take a few hours to complete. Depending on your setup, you may need to drill holes, pull wires, and mount the antenna. Some people simply run the cabling through windows or doors and mount the antenna on a temporary pole outside. I installed the system in a more permanent manner internally but opted for a removable antenna mast for flexibility in antenna placement. Whatever your skill level, the easy-to-follow instructions with clear explanations make it simple enough for anyone to do. Also the HiBoost customer service is top notch and can give you advice if you need it.When setting up the system, it’s important to consider where you place the external antenna and how far apart it is from the internal antenna. The external antenna should be positioned high above the trailer, with a clear view of the sky and horizon. Keep in mind that trees, buildings, power lines, and electrical systems in your trailer can all affect how well the system performs. To prevent feedback and ensure a strong internal signal, try to maximize the distance between the two antennas. Think of it like a microphone and speaker setup – if the microphone is too close, it will produce a squealing sound. The same principle applies to the antennas, as feedback can worsen the system’s performance.PerformanceThis is what matters most! Once you install it, you’ll notice that the signal becomes stronger and better. The booster enhances your cellular signal and sends it through the inside antenna, giving you a more reliable connection to your mobile network. If you’re watching videos or using an app that requires a lot of data, you’ll notice that everything is faster. If you couldn’t receive calls or messages before, now you’ll be able to easily communicate thanks to the improved connection. Just remember to stay close to the inside antenna, as the signal quality decreases significantly with distance. We placed ours in the middle of the trailer and have had no problems inside. However, if the original cell signal is very weak, the improvement will be minimal. Cell phone towers are also good at picking up weak signals, but the power to send the signal back to the tower is limited. The booster can amplify the signal, but you might not be able to send it back to the tower. There are many factors to consider. Even the weather can affect the signal. During our first trip, we had strong storms and heavy rain, which degraded the signal and prevented us from using the internet. However, we could still text and make calls without any issues. For our next trip, we decided to swap the omni-directional antenna that comes with the kit for a directional antenna that can be bought from HiBoost (for more information, reach out to HiBoost customer service). We tested both antennas and found that the signal greatly improved with the new antenna. To determine the correct direction to point the antenna based on our location, we used several mobile signal apps. Thankfully, during our second trip, even though it rained the whole time, we didn’t experience any signal loss, which was a relief.Warranty and Customer SupportFinally, the Kit also comes with a three-year warranty, so you can rest assured you’re getting quality hardware that is built to last. Hiboost is also known for its quality customer service. The agent I have dealt with, Liam, has gone above and beyond to provide information and advice throughout this entire process.VerdictOverall, the HiBoost Travel 2.0 RV Cell Phone Booster Kit is a worthwhile investment for anyone who spends time on the road. The boosted signal ensures you’re always connected, allowing for easy communication, browsing, and streaming. The kit is easy to install, flexible, and compatible with all devices and networks. The warranty and customer support make it easy to trust that your money is well spent, leading you to enjoy your adventures more freely. We highly recommend the HiBoost RV Cell Phone Booster Kit for all RV enthusiasts.

I purchased to use in cargo trailer while traveling. Easy setup but couldn't connect to the app via Bluetooth. Contacted customer service and spoke with Yoselin who was very helpful. They told me my Bluetooth on phone and equipment were incompatible and sent me another booster for free. I hooked everything up again and the app connected. I did a speed test with and without the equipment hooked up. There was considerable improvement. I haven't tried this while traveling yet but hoping I have the same outcome. However, I'm going to have to brush up on the app because I'm really not sure how to use it.

Purchased from Amazon 1 weeks ago. This may be a good product but because HiBoost customer service didn't respond, I was concerned this unit had serious technical problems. Tried calling (3 times), Chat (twice) and emailing. At one point, a chat operator responded 5 HOURS after my initial chat then sent an email at 4 AM asking for more information because I didn't respond to the chat. The icing on the cake was that after several phone calls, I finally got through to person that tried to help. She admitted that they have had similar problems with their devices and the ap. Although she was not able to help, she promised a tech would call me back in 45 minutes. That was 4 hours ago. I don't believe anyone in this company cares about customer service. Buyer beware. This unit's installation goes a lot easier with an app that they recommend installing. I don't believe that it's a requirement for operation but important to maximize the location of the outdoor antenna.Unfortunately, this unit was unable to connect to my phone despite every indication that it should have.Having this issue made me concerned that the unit may have other issues and therefore caused me to return to Amazon for lack of response. Here is the issue.I have a Samsung S22 Ultra. The Booster was powered up as instructed (no antennas connected) and only a foot away from the phone. The device powered up OK with the communication led flashing. The Signal Supervisor Ap was launched as instructed. I DID NOT get a message to “Select the HiBoost Server” as stated in the instructions. The ap launched successfully and I navigated to Add Device. The ap found the correct device. I placed my phone in Bluetooth scan mode and selected the device on the ap. After about 20 seconds, I received a message on the ap stating “Fail, please try again”. I looked on my phone and it was trying to identify a new addresses that appeared when the ap was launched. After a few minutes, the phone still could not identify the device to be connected. I retried a few more times to connect but still same error message “Fail, please try again”. My phone has been able to connect to several Bluetooth devices including earbuds as the most recent, so my phone is not the problem. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the WeBoost product.
