slight truss rod adjustment, minor fret edge rounding and it’s literally perfect. also 200 dollars less than major brand competition. couldn’t recommend enough. just have an allen wrench and high grit sand paper ready. not even 10 minutes before it was gig viable.

Where do I start. Let’s start with the good then finish with the bad.1- great size2- incredibly comfortable to play3- Has pick up4- beautiful guitarNegative things.1- a string buzzed2- the cables inside were not glued properly so it was hanging.3- tried to change the pins and the nut came loose.4- the sound hole is very rough and bad around the edges.5- the neck is a little bowed6- the frets are not evenWith that said, it has the potential to be a great guitar if you spend the money to fix those things. The price needs to be lower. I have cheaper guitars same size that are in better condition than this one.

I really like this little guitar. Well made. Good set up. Good intonation. Fine value for a mess around instrument. Kudos!

I purchased this guitar to keep in office and eventually travel. I chose this guitar because it is small and it has 19 frets. I've had it for several months now, so I've gotten reasonably used to playing it.This picture shows the Traveller guitar on the left and my workhorse Takamine on the right. I play finger style guitar and the action out of the box was a little high. I had it lowered. The neck didn't require much adjustment, but the saddle had to be sanded down. The adjustment cost $90. After that it was a lot easier to play. The Traveller has a very slightly wider nut than the Takamine, so the strings are about the same distance apart. However, I am still getting used to the smaller fret spacing. You can see from the pic that the space between the nut and the first fret is about the same as the spacing between the 2nd and 3rd frets on the Takamine, so you want to know what it's like to play the Traveller you may try putting a capo on the 2nd or 3rd fret of a larger guitar.Another difference is the width of the neck. The Traveller neck is a bit fatter than the Takamine, and it's a little harder to get my left thumb around when I use it to press the 6th string. Of course, this gets even harder as you move up the neck.Since the body is small you may find yourself strumming or picking further up the neck than you would on a larger body guitar. I have to make a conscious effort not to do that. The beveled top edge is a nice feature. It prevents chafing of the right arm that you may otherwise experience with the sound hole so close to the edge of the body. The molded cut-out looks a little plywoodie, but it works well. It's nice to have easier access to the frets at the upper end of the scale - which is one of the reasons I purchased this guitar instead of a more expensive parlor guitar with less frets.I think the tone is very good for such a small guitar. The solid top and relatively fat body do seem to help with that, but the tone is not as good as larger concert guitars or the Takamine. I am using ej16 soft phosphor bronze strings. I don't know what kind of strings came with it and couldn't find that information on Traveller's site.If you want a richer tone, you can plug it in and try some effects. The pre-amp works well with just a powered studio monitor, but I have not tried it with a guitar amp. The other thing about the electronics is that the tuner is very sensitive. It only takes a small change in the string tension to get the tuner to rail to one side of your target note or the other. Once it's tuned it does seem to stay in tune for a reasonably long period, but I do find myself adjusting it every few days.Happy playing!

Came with the strings installed wrong (and missing one), the truss rod wasn't adjusted, and the electronics didn't work. After fixing and adjusting everything, it's a nice guitar. The sound output is really impressive for a small guitar! The fret edges are quite sharp, but that's also fixable. This guitar is super easy to play with it's short scale length.

I loved the design, and build quality, however very disappointed when unzipped the cover, first thing show up in front of my eyes was the 6th string almost broke off, perhaps it would last a few times playing, but seem like I would have to replace the whole set soon. I would rate again 5 stars if seller offer extra string to replace! Please see photos for your reference

This is a awesome little guitar for the money! Sold my GS mini! My only complaint is sharp fret ends, but this is fairly common in this price range.

Perfect guitar to practice with, great sound and finish. The onboard tuner is a plus. Worth the investment .

Love the guitar, look great but now that I am home and have a chance to play it it does nothing but buzz harshly after the fifth fret across all strings. This guitar should be tested before being sent out and arrive ready to go. I wouldn't buy this guitar be warned. I want my money back or a new tested functioning guitar sent to me and you can have this disaster back at your own cost to ship. This review is accurate and if satisfaction happens I will change this review otherwise if this is still up stay far away from this company

I will keep this short and sweet just like the guitar itself. It is my new favorite guitar and since I got it I have hardly put it down. I just love the thing.

I own a bunch of acoustic guitars. Most of the name brands are hanging on my wall. Occasionally, I like to wander off the beaten path with "off brands" like Travelers. Very glad I did with this guitar. Only thing required when it arrived was a truss rod adjustment. Electronics are not good. String amplification is very unbalanced. I can’t use it plugged in.
