This is a nice self contained pop up t handle but it is NOT replacement for the snugtop "pop up lock".

This was an oem part for my tonneau cover and was a great quality my only mistake was that it was left turn and not right turn so I had to return it. I had the same good qualities of popping up and staying locked or closed when it's not locked unlocking was very simple. But again it was counterclockwise when I needed to have one clockwise didn't pay attention to that when I ordered it. Other than that it was a great part.

This is an exact replacement for the 20 year old unit that wore out. It works great. Also available is the protective cap that keeps out dirt and moisture.

The lock on my cover broke and I was looking for a replacement and found this. Looked the same so I got it and it works perfect. There's not a lot to these things just get the one that looks just like the one you had.

I have a LoRider fiberglass hard cover on the 6-foot bed of a '99 Ford F150. This is the locking handle for the latch system. It was an exact replacement and fit perfectly. I like that it lays relatively flat when locked – making it possible to carry, say, a mattress, on top of the hard cover. For much less money, I could have replaced it with a T-Handle lock that does not have the "pop up" feature, but was glad to find this one.My only complaint (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars) is that, for the price, the package was just too lean. Installation requires two #10x1¾" flat-head machine screws with matching nuts and washers; and a speednut-like clip that serves as a safety against failure of the setscrew holding the latch cable hardware in place. (If that screw should fail, and the cable fall of the latch handle, there would be no way to open the hard-top.) Once installed, the clip is difficult to remove without damaging it. I thought all four (screws, nuts, washers & clip) should be included – especially for the price.I bought stainless hardware, including stop-nuts (which I would recommend for anyone using this lock for this application). The original screws were not stainless and one of them was so badly rusted that it broke and I had to drill it out (not so easy in fiberglass). I could not find a replacement for the clip, and managed to re-use the old one, but not everyone would be so lucky. All in all, I'm completely satisfied, except that I thought the relatively expensive package should include mounting hardware – and maybe the "fail-safe" clip.
