With the Honeycomb Grid
The Honeycomb Grid with Velcro sewn around the sides can be respectively fastened to the inner side of the umbrella softbox. The Octagon (soft grid) alters the existing light source into its unique shape and intensity to fit challenging light requirements. Suitable for special portraits or product shooting, resulting in a different light and dark raster effect.

Item works only that they sent me wrong size grid. Will order a grid for my 90 cm softbox. I am keeping the item.

This is a great option that works really well. This is super portable, folds up as good as you would expect and gives you options to use it with the honeycomb grid alone, honeycomb grid with the inner diffuser and/or the outer diffuser. It even folds up still almost just as good setup fully disassembled so you can set it up check it and then close it up with the strap to have it back in the bag for it. It holds on really well to my Godox V860iiF with my wireless trigger connected and the opening is wide enough that it fits even a V1 with no problems. The clamps are really easy and the rubber on the clamping mechanism is plush but grippy enough that i don't worry about it damaging my flash units when i put them in.

Maybe I’ll change my rating when I actually figure out how to open the thing. I’ve used multiple soft boxes and never been so confused as to how to actually OPEN AND KEEP IT OPEN? send instructions!!!!!!

I am actually really impressed with these softboxes! I have used them several times so far and they seem pretty sturdy. The lighting is dispersed nicely, and I haven’t noticed any hotspots when taking photos of people with different skin tones. The only downside is that the rods are a little hard to pull sometimes, but it’s not that big of a deal. For the price, these softboxes are actually really awesome! The quality is comparable to much higher priced softboxes.
