I bought this to set my DSLR on some equipment to do some astrophotography. The ball head was recommended by more than one YouTube astrophotographer, and I have seen them use the tool.I cannot deny the world of flexibility that the ball head mount introduces into a setup. However, when I used it to set my camera in a position to image something in the night sky, the angle was such that the camera rotated and I wound up getting a long-exposure shot of some trees.

Works great on my mini dolly-car. Note that it's all metal, so a bit on the heavy side considering the size of it. (It matters to me as I'm carrying my filming gear for backpacking trips and each gram counts) I got another ball head, smaller and lighter that works better for my needs, but I'm not returning this one. It's a good product.

I have a tripod that has a detachable leg to use as a monopod, the screw head is a 3/8x16 when detached. This mini ball head is just perfect for using with the monopod. No extra adjusters, just screws right on and is ready for use. The knob is big and easy to use, the ball movement is really good, and it tightens up really well. I will definitely be buying more of these from this brand as the need arises.

For the price, this is a decent tripod head. I am using it on a spotting scope and it is sufficiently strong.

I've been using this a lot in conjunction with a Photography Tripod Light Stand. The threaded mount on the bottom of this works perfectly with my light stand threaded mount. I'm using this along with a cell phone mount to let me go hands free when I live stream in my garage. I have the ability to move the phone in just about any direction and it's very stable and secure holding my Iphone 13 Pro Max with a case on it as well. Funciona muy bien, ajusta perfecto cuando se quiere que no se mueva, es un poco más grande de lo que imaginé por las fotos, pero está perfecto, es un poquito pesado pero no me afecta. Muy buena calidad

This is a really good ball mount for a smartphone. I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra and this mount has no trouble keeping it steady in place on my JOBY tripod.

I received the ball head that had an issue of getting locked in. I contacted the customer service and they researched the subject. They stated that the item I received is not good and two days later I received a replacement ball head which works beautifully. I love it and use it for alignment of a laser beam.

Nice quality . . I am currently using it on my monopod as a hand hold. Seems well made . . even colorful . . although I'm not sure what the side mounted level is all about. I have had cheap versions and this is definitely nice . . I don't know the weight capacity/security but it hold me while I'm walking to town with my stick/cane/monopod. I look forward to using it with my camera/monocular . . but for now it saves my hand (with the stem turned sideways and lock ring-nut in my pocket).
