While I did ensure that the adaptor fits my Starlink antenna perfectly, my plan is to instead rig this tripod to hold the modem and power adapter since I place those outside my camper to be shared with other parties in my group. This tripod is almost identical to the tripod I already use for my antenna, and I have no doubts it will work quite well since my existing one works perfectly.Build quality is solid and it is very easy to setup and collapse, no complaints at all.

Works great, is very easy to install, fit is perfect, extremely adjustable, made out of quality material, the plastic parts are rugged, definitely not cheap and the mount ability is excellent along with being reasonably priced this is a great tripod.

We were heading out to a remote campsite with no cell service, and I was worried about staying connected. This tripod stand allowed me to set up my Starlink dish quickly and easily, even on uneven terrain. The adjustable height was perfect for getting the best signal, and the pipe adapter fit seamlessly with my Gen 3 dish. What really impressed me was how stable it remained in windy conditions. We had a pretty gusty night, but the tripod held firm, keeping our internet connection steady. It's lightweight and easy to pack, which is a bonus for RV travel where space is limited. Overall, this tripod stand has been a reliable companion on our adventures, ensuring we stay connected no matter where we roam

The pole adapter plate fits the Starlink Gen 3 perfectly and holds the antenna securely in heavy winds. A much better design than the optional pole adapter sold by Starlink. If your install doesn't require the Starlink to be elevated, the tripod works well when in the collapsed position, but the kit becomes wobbly when extended in height. The tripod maximum leg width is approximately 16 inches. Unfortunately, this narrow footprint does not provide a stable platform and the Starlink is easily tipped over. I added three 12 lb photo ballast bags (one to each of the tripod legs) to prevent the tripod from tipping over in a moderate wind.5 star rating for the pole mount plate, but only can give 2 or 3 stars for the tripod. If the seller upgrades the kit to include a tripod with wider stance, we will be happy to review again!

I have to say that for the price I was underwhelmed by the engineering of this stand. While it is very lightweight and stable for short height extensions, it is in my opinion very cheaply made compared to what you can get in a small photo tripod or very similarly designed portable speaker stands for around the same price. Both of those tripods would require a little adaptation to mount an antenna but they also can provide a larger and more stable base. In the case of a photo tripod you can also adjust the length of individual legs to accommodate uneven terrain. My biggest complaint is that at the widest spread the contact points of the legs are only 17" apart, and with the antenna mounted even at minimum height it is easily blown over by a gust of wind. A little more leg length would have increased the stability. I can't see using this stand at the highest extension without anchoring the base with weights.Aside from the instability, the tubing used for the legs and vertical posts is only about .018" thick and you can actually deform it from round into an oval at the open ends by squeezing it with your fingers. This in itself is not a problem because it does have more than adequate strength to support the weight of the antenna. However when tightening the leg and height adjustment screw knobs the metal is so thin that it dents (not permanently unless you go too far) and it is not clear when you are tight enough because between the compressing tubes and the molded plastic fittings the clamps really don't have a firm stop to tell you when you are tight enough. To its credit it is very lightweight, compact, and can be set up in just a few minutes. But I would not use this at all with any wind unless the legs are anchored with big rocks or logs. And from an engineering standpoint this looks to me like something that should probably cost half of what is being charged.

I bought this to replace another very poor quality product. This item fit our starlink panel perfectly. Mounts securely, yet easy to attach and remove. The angle of the adapter is great. With no shimming or other adjustment, we had perfect alignment. The hardware provided appears to be of good quality. We'll see how it endures harsh weather in the coming months. Highly recommend for a starlink gen 3 system.
