Your cart is empty. The P581-006 DisplayPort to DVI-D Cable Adapter (M/M) allows you to connect a computer with a DisplayPort connection to a high-definition television or monitor with a DVI input. Digital video signals are passed through with full 1080p video resolution. Fully molded ends are designed to last a long time.
The six-foot P581-006 is a passive adapter that requires the host computer to have a DP++ dual-mode connector, which allows HDMI and DVI signals to be passed through. Check your computer's documentation for compatibility.Not for use with MST Hubs. For compatibility with MST Hubs, use a DisplayPort 1.2 compliant product such as P581-006-V2.

I had previously purchased a passive Displayport to DVI cable, and my old monitor would not recognize the input. This active cable worked perfectly. As long as things keep working, this will be a great purchase.

Works as intended to get 120Hz on my monitor but unfortunately I get random black screens for 3 / 4 seconds randomly in games then it comes back but this is most likely due to my old monitor.

Perfectly does it’s job, and build quality is also good.It’s an active conversion cable, it means that even if your DVI doesn’t support digital signal it’ll still work with this cable. That’s why it’s slightly more expensive,

Excelllent quality; active cable supports dual mode (accommodating larger DVI-D monitors; should also support two DVI-D monitors with a splitter). Also works fine with a single DVI-D monitor (which is my use case).

Was looking for a solution for my monitors not supporting 144hz through display port and this was not it. This is actually DVI-D Dual Link wired to a DVI-D Single Link. If you want a 144hz you can't use cables like this. You either need a monitor that supports display port or a complete DVI Dual Link connection.Pros:Cable is well builtCons:Really isn't DVI Dual Link since some of the connectors aren't actually wired to the display port 1.2 end.Kind of expensive for a cable.

I wish all laptop and desktop computers would use a standard system like they used toso we would not have to chase around for cables to fit.However, this product did the trick to hook up my Samsung Laptop to my Monitor.Well made good product.
