Striped head using a 9 volt screw gun. Very cheap and soft. Threw in trash.

These mounts broke on my first trip. Luckily I was able to grab my new trolling motor just before it went over the side.

The product is okay, if you don’t over torque they will hold up for a little while. If you’re mounting a trolling motor, save your time and money and buy the stainless steel toggle anchors made for dry wall. I went through a set of these every year until I switched to those anchors. Been going strong 3 years on an aluminum boat in the saltwater, no play in the motor at all. They are 5 bucks a pack at Lowe’s.
