I know this trowel seems like a gimmick.. but this and the quarter inch notch version are perfect for shower boxes and backsplash tile work. Just trust me and get it, once you use it you'll never pick up anything else for small areas.

Not sure why this smaller trowel is not readily available as after using it I won’t do another backsplash without using it. It is sooooo much easier to maneuver in a small space like a backsplash. Highly recommended!!!

It does exactly what it should do. Great for small areas in between outlets and countertops. Completely worth the money and has the most comfortable handle of all my trowels.

I am a professional tile setter and I bought this for tile backsplashes because it's small and maneuverable. 2 minutes into my first job with it I noticed the handle was loose, so I tried to tighten the nut on it. The nut broke off with very little force and now the trowel is useless. I tried to contact the manufacturer (Troxell) for a new trowel but they refused to stand behind their product and instead passed the buck to the Amazon seller.Avoid this product and this brand! Junk products that they dont stand behind!
