I needed a long cargo grabber to get items from under the tarp of my Ram truck. The pole grabber was long enough with cushioned grips and came in multiple sections that screwed together and came with 2 different hooks. You can only use 1 hook style at a time. I think it would have been a great option to be able to use both hooks screwed together. The flat bar screwed on first, then the curved hook threaded into the flat bar 180 deg. apart. I’m thinking of welding the 2 hooks together to make this configuration. Minus 1 star for not being able to screw the 2 hooks together. Other than that, it’s a good product.

This is a great tool for retrieving items that rolled to the front of the truck bed. Since it was labeled adjustable I assumed that it was telescoping but it is not. You assemble it to the length of your truck bed. Thats ok but you have to either disassemble when done or find a way to mount it in the bed. I will do the latter.

Wow. How did I live without this? This tool makes it easy to grab things from the front of the truck bed without even having to open the tonneau cover. Today, I used it to pull forward some small, but very heavy items, and the tool performed perfectly. No issue with bending and the small hook allowed me to grab things under handles to bring them forward in the best way. It takes up very little space and if you had to, you could unscrew the pieces and slide it under a seat. I keep mine in the back of my truck just laying on the bed. It doesn’t slide around or make any noise and it is ready when I need it. Super useful tool.

I got this for getting things out of the bed of my truck under the tonneau cover. My very first impression was that you thread together segments to set the length, instead of being able to adjust as needed. I checked the listing and it really isn't clear that it isn't adjustable in length, so much as you can disassemble and reassemble with more or fewer segments. This works OK in that I can easily reach the length of my bed, but I'd prefer to be able to quickly shrink it down for storage so I'll probably find another style that does that.It is well built, lightweight, and assembles very easily, so if having variable length isn't important, this is a great tool.

Was really surprised at the build quality and the materials...At the listed price, I was stoked that they used an Austenitic grade of stainless steel...For those that base stainless steels on the magnetic thing, this is the type that is most resistant to rust, as opposed to the Ferritic or Martensitic grades...Contrary to what some people believe, there are stainless steels that have magnetic properties...That said, this is perfect for getting to items, boxes, and such, that are out of reach, and allows you to get things done without straining your back in the process...Very handy tool working in the back of my van...

I kept a pole in the back of my truck to pull items towards the tailgate but it never really worked well. This grabber is a much better solution and by providing two different hooks, and length options, this should work for most any truck. The grabber is strong and can pull heavy items without problems.

This isn’t gonna yank 3.5ft logs out of the front of your bed, but it’s a good medium duty hook I’d say. In my short bed I can grab my open orbital sander bag, pretty easily hook both handles and lift it up and out. You can slide more weight than you can lift, obviously? But you could get a shopping bag or backpack or compound bow easily from an empty-ish bed. .Hooks are versatile but you choose one and then the other is lost to whatever compartment or drawer somewhere as there’s no bag or way to affix anything to itself. I haven’t decided a stow preference yet, probably assembled in the bed ready to go but a 3-4ft section of rubber wire also seems to hold the pieces in a bundle pretty well if you want to have it broke down. The foam grips are really helpful.I haven’t had a pole like this where the tubes are wide threaded before, it doesn’t seem like it could be sturdy at all while putting them together but it stiffens up a surprising amount once twisted. Assembly takes seconds.I just re-browsed all the pole options, and for the money and the expected amount of use I’d 100% want to go with this one again. Really nice combination of attributes and a good value.

These are a really good length to reach back to the far end of my truck bed, but I don't have an 8 foot bed (only 6.5 feet). It might not quite reach things at the front of the longer bed.The two foam grips really help you get a grip on the pole to manipulate it. The hook ends are a really good shape to grab something or get behind a box to pull it toward you.I really appreciate the lightweight design, but I feel it is a bit too lightweight, almost to the point of being flimsy. When I need to wrestle a heavy box back from the front of my bed, I can't have the pole start flexing like a pole vaulting pole. For now I am leaving the pole assembled, but I did save the box it came in because I may take it apart and stow it somewhere out of the way.
