I wanted a handheld release that would latch to the d-loop and decided to give this a try. I'm glad I did.It's very comfortable, and easy to adjust to get to fit you well. I didn't seem to get much tension adjustment range with the travel set to the absolute minimum (essentially no travel), but if you give it any travel at all then you will get a respectable amount of tension adjustment.I started off trying to use the pad of my thumb to open the hook, but quickly realized that just giving the release a slight flick is significantly faster and easier.The listing photos are of the non lite version of the Synapse..Still gets a 5, fantastic release for the price.
