I've worked in law enforcement for 12 years, and I have worn many "tac pants" over the years. I am constantly searching for a pair that has strength, comfort, and breathability. After seeing one of my coworkers with a pair of these, I had to get my own. They look and feel great. They're versatile and have plenty of pockets for storage. The 4 way stretch panels really help with flexibility and movement. There are zippered vents on both sides to increase breathability when needed. The "DropN Pocket" is great for my iPhone 14 Pro Max and fits even the larger phones. The black and green color scheme looks good and gets a lot of compliments. After week of use and washing, they're holding up well for the office, range, and training. Highly recommend for military or law enforcement use. I have not yet tested them in the extreme cold but they work well in the Alabama summer heat.

They are comfortable and the stretch waist really makes for a great fit. The material is a bit noisy when trying to move silently through the bush. Overall, they’re pretty good. I will be ordering them in a colour to match my uniform.

I love these pants. I have used them hiking and winter camping several times now. Dirt doesn't seem to stick to them; I have knelt in snow for lengthy periods of time and the dampness didn't seep in. I wear these over a base-layer and it is comfortable enough at -5c. I added knee pads a few times, (knock-off Crye Precision Airflex) - They fit in perfectly upside-down and don't stick out much while moving around. I have washed these pants several times and put them in the dryer at normal temps -- I haven't noticed any shrinkage, although they do seem quieter then when I first wore them. The stitching is tight and clean, and everything about them feels high-quality.The extra stretch in the waistband is great for those of us that eat or drink too much the night before heading out, and the stretch panels / fabric are well placed so that there is no binding when moving, sitting, kneeling, etc. I haven't used these in the warmer temps yet, so can't speak to the venting -- although I suspect on hot and humid days they may be a bit warm.I haven't loaded up the pockets yet, but they seem well designed. The cell-phone pocket is a neat idea, but I would be worried about impacts to the phone while it is in there-- I usually carry my phone in an inside chest pocket if possible. The extra fabric for a pocket knife clip is great and it keeps it out of the way when you have nothing else to do with your hands. I like the extra snap at the hem, which keeps snow out of my boots. I haven't felt the need to use the lace-clip yet, but appreciate that it is there.I bought the green with black panels... a few people have commented on how neat they look (I guess they look "technical" without looking "tacticool"). I'm looking forward to summer when I can really test these pants out for prolonged periods of time.

These are comfortable and seem to be well made, but there are huge flaws with the knee design. For me it sits far too low, the top of the whole large knee zone barely reaches the bottom of my knee and the rest of it is down my shin. I'm 6'3.Secondly, the knee pad pockets are insanely large, so large that there is no knee pad on the market that will fit properly in them. I can easily fit TWO inserts in each pocket by turning them sideways and still having room vertically and horizontally, the pockets are that large. This makes it uncomfortable though.These are outdoor pants and you will want to be kneeling down in them, but these two huge design flaws makes these pants not fit for purpose. I wouldn't ever buy them again because of it. If you don't care about that, then you'll probably be happy with these. Good quality, poorly executed.

My first pair of these pants came with a bad zipper on the left lower leg. That is kind of annoying, but since that isn't a feature I really care about, it never stopped me from buying 2 more pairs of the same pants (different colors, otherwise the same). I found zero flaws in the other 2 pairs of pants. Otherwise the zippers, snaps, and everything else about them are flawless. They are my favorite backpacking pants. I have worn them hunting and camping also. I have treated them with permetherin bug repellent and that didn't cause any color staining or any other damage either. Of course I have built and tended campfires while wearing them. They allow great freedom of movement and breathability. I would say that they are better for warmer weather (in comparison to typical jeans). I have worn them in massive rain. They offer zero water resistance, but they dry super fast. I also wore these pants to a couple of survival classes. I thought they were great for that kind of use. I even had one of the survival instructors say he thought that these are a very good choice for bushcraft survival purposes. They look very nice. They are fantastic for the rugged outdoorsy stuff and they easily are nice enough to wear to church, school, maybe even dates or possibly even a job interview (depending on a lot of variables of course). They really are sharp looking enough for wearing around town and looking damn good while doing so. I wear them to work at the laboratory that I work at. It is a dirty job. We work with strong acids, (I'm not saying that they will protect you from strong acids (they won't) I'm just saying that so far I haven't noticed any acid burns in them) and we do a lot of manual labor involving loading and unloading and carrying mildly heavy things around, bending down to pick things up, etc.. I bought my first pair of them about a year and a half ago, and I've given them anything but an easy life. With all the physically demanding things I have done in these pants I haven't damaged them in the slightest. I do recommend them. I even plan to buy at least one more pair of them (if I can find the color I want at a lower price). Oh yeah, I wash them in hot water in the heavy soil setting on my washing machine and I never machine dry any pants ever. So I don't know what would happen if you machine dry them.

Best pair of pants I own now ! I like to hunt, go to the range, and I like to have pockets. LOTS of pockets ! I also don't like having pants for shooting and hunting and pants for work (Business casual job). These are perfect for both ! They're the most comfortable pants I own. I especially love the elastic adjustable sides and makes it easy for a fat man to conceal carry (6'0" 240 lbs). I love the extra fabric reinforced knife spot on the pocket but if your knife has a tight clip, you'll need to slide the knife on the non reinforced section and slide it down to the reinforced section. But I love that non the less. Size - These are very true to waste size and are forgiving if you have a gut like I do because they expand. I wear a 38" waist jeans/pants when I don't conceal carry and a 40 " waist when I do carry remembering to always go up 2 sizes for conceal carry. So I bought the 38" waist thinking they expand to allow for conceal carry and they were spot on. For length, they run short. I normally wear 30 length in all pants but these are too short. So I had to send back and order 32 length. Perfect fit now. The fabric is kind of stretchy in bending areas but super durable. I can't find a negative to write about these pants. NONE !
