This tip is NOT for soldering thick wiring or XT-60 battery connections, unless you max out your soldering iron. These tips are cheap to replace (although I've needed to actually replace one). It does a good job of transferring the heat wel. This isn't just for the TS-100. It is fit any other soldeing iron with the standard TS-100 shape.

Using a TS-BC2, this is the one you want for all purpose soldering on a TS100.Not having any wild temperature fluctuations as some of the older reviews indicated, readings vary within a few degrees but are mostly accurate and haven't mislead me with these tips.Tip came pre-tined with solder, not sure if used or if this is the result of QC, but it worked fine regardless.

Then if you have a Pinecil or similar soldering iron this tip is great, the tip shape makes it easier to solder and it recognized in my iron easily.

Tip did not heat enough to melt solder properly for some reason. Stock tip that came with my TS100 works just fine.
