I have bought 2 of these files. I broke my first, all my fault. But it was course compared to the replacement I purchased. Obvious difference in aggressiveness of the profile. Certification paperwork would be huge plus.

I have an antique machine, cast iron, with a thin slot in it: .075 inch wide by 1/2 inch deep.I need to increase the width to .085 inch.This file is very thin; appears to be .030 inch or less.But it is so fine, it seems to be designed more for polishing than for actual metal removal.So back it goes, and I have ordered a Swiss Jeweler's FIle, Cut 0, Equalling, that I hope will be more suitable.

The only very thin file I could find. Worked for my application, but it's a bit flexy.
