We purchased to better organize our life vests, we didn't use it to connect to a t top but to put in a compartment and it worked good for storage.

I got this for my boat to hold the life jackets in. This was a perfect addition to my boat. The quality is excellent and quite strong. The price was reasonable and it was easy to find a place for the storage bag given its small size. I will keep getting this product due to it being made so well.

The material is nice and thick and the straps seem to be stitched nicely, it should hold up pretty well on a boat. I have an 18' boat and it was too wide for the T-Top by about 12" so I won't be able to use it.

I have a 21 foot center console boat that I just installed a T-Top on and was looking for a little extra storage to hold my life jackets out of the way, but to be readily available, just in case. This fits and works perfectly for my needs. Even with the bag installed I have plenty of headroom to walk under without bumping into it. It secured nice and snug onto the frame and doesn't move around while hitting waves. Definitely a must have if you are an avid boater/fisherman.

This item feels well built. The straps are sturdy, the zippers move freely, and the construction is solid. However, it is too wide for my T top. I tried to mount it yesterday and even though I'm going to try it for a bit, I feel as though it will probably come off.

My yellow safety bag was starting to get a little moldy, here's how this compares as a replacement.Storage: this is the black bag's biggest deficiency compared to the yellow bag. Fitting six jackets is tight and one can't store a fire extinguisher in the neck hole of the life jackets. It also doesn't have a clear pocket for paperwork.On boat ease of storage: This will depend on boat configuration. I was hoping to squeeze the black bag under a gunwale as opposed to taking up locker space but it does fit.Material: Slight advantage to the black bag, the material feels slightly sturdierColor: The black will definitely hold up better to mold forming over time.Portability: both bags are easy to carry, although the yellow bag's more compact form factor allows somewhat less interference.Price is a wash, at $55 this storage bag is within a dollar of my prior bag yellow safety bag.Having a properly equipped safety bag is important - both for safety and avoiding fines.

Life vests just want to slide all over the place and get tangled up. This mesh bag holds 6 standard adult vests easily. I actually stuck two child vests in after i took this picture. It comes with a dry bag for anything else you'd need in the event you use the life preservers.
