I’m giving it four stars because it does keep the water from running over onto the garage floor, but because there are so many wrinkles that cannot be straightened out, you have to drag it out and dump the water pretty frequently. It won’t hold a lot of snow melt or cinder. Also, the squeegee that comes with it is pretty useless so don’t buy it for the squeegee.

Does not stay put material is kind of thin and flimsily. Moves and bunches up a lot.

I own a detail shop and needed a water containment mat for when I do washes inside the bay. The raised edge keeps all the water dirt and mud contained even from large trucks and SUVs. Compared to professional quality “water retention mats” that are minimum $1,000 or more, this product works perfectly at a seriously affordable price point. Highly recommended!

The concept is good, but the execution is lacking. First, the small patches of velcro/tape is not sufficient. Mat comes undone. This exacerbates the problem of not laying flat. Regardless of how you pull the sides, there are ridges and valleys. Doesn't seem too bad UNTIL you try to use the squeegee! It cannot clean the mat because water flows along the valleys. Also, the squeegee falls apart easily because no matter how much force you use, it does not properly screw into the adjoining pieces. Several of us tried multiple times but it won't screw in, and thus falls apart when using it.

I waited sometime before writing this review.1 negative is the mat does not lay flat. Hard to get water out. Did not secure it to the floor as I live in Colorado and it was much easier to move the mats outside to remove mud and water. With that being said, the mat is saving my garage floor (concrete) and all the mud ice water snow, etc lands on the mat. I can squeegee it right out the door. The creases are the only issues. On a few warm days, I dragged them out and cleaned them off. The ridges on the side are tall enough to keep a lot of the material from flooding the garage area. Very handy and I have recommended them to several others. So far they have held up with pulling on and off of them and have not noticed any tears.

Cheaper for me to buy one for a car than an ATV. But keeps all the water contained after plowing snow. Garage floor is dry, and this seems very durable. Second year using it and still very happy with my purchase. The Velcro could be a little bigger/stickier would be only complaint. I did have the mat upside down though, so that could be the reason the velcro did not stick to it very well?

Use construction adhesive caulk at corners rather than Velcro. This will hold forever

Easy to install containment mat for garage. Unroll from shipping box and slide into place on garage floor. Heavy duty construction with rim for containing drips from auto.
