Wish I still had this one but a family member loved it so much she took it. This was my first pbn. It took about 50 hrs total. Was fun.So I bought 8 more of variety and haven't stopped.

I ordered this by mistake. I almost returned it, but decided to keep it. I'm glad I did. This is a very nice kit and the image is great! It comes with a paper copy as well, which is very helpful as a reference. The instructions are clear and everything that you need is included in this kit.

The paint is honestly really nice, nothing was dried out. This is partially done, but it’ll make for a perfect painting for Halloween!

I was looking forward to this one because it looks so cool. But what I received is a poor man’s version.If you look carefully at the second pic on the listing you can see an example of the issue. The moon has an odd shape around it, rather than a lighter blue glow.The clouds do not look at all like the main pic. There’s also green used in the sky, and while I realize this is an abstract landscape, green looks strange to me as a highlight color in a night sky.The water and the foreground are a jumbled mess. You can’t tell really what is land sloping down to the water and what is water. The reflection in the water is unclear.While there’s a lot of detailed sections, it blends some parts together so the result is flat, rather than giving a sense of depth.The colors chosen for this PBN are way too dark. And I think that’s the main problem I have with it. I did all the detail brushwork (the trees and branches and flowers and reflections) but you can’t see it because there’s no contrast. It all looks like a dark space, when there main pic is dynamic and filled with interest and light.The bright orange paint is also strangely vibrant, like a highlighter, and doesn’t blend with the rest of the painting.All in all, I’ve used paints from other projects to try to fix what I dislike about it. And I can’t really return it. 🤷🏻♀️ I had fun painting it, so yay for me?! Lol

The image size is not 16" x 20"...It's 15 5/8" x 19 5/8" so if you want to buy stretched bars and mount the canvas they're white space around the image.I bought this for a gift so it's a little weird to give it to someone and be like just fill in the blank area any way you want...The image is nice and it has subtle color to give you a hint of what the corresponding paint color is.
