If you’re looking to scoop large melon balls this is not the tool… I used them once, only because they got here the day I needed, to late to go searching the big chain stores for one. My melon ball salad still looked messy, not what I expected.

Exactly what I was looking for in a watermelon baller. Solid design and good quality. I've had other styles before and the ends (ball sections) would separate from the handle. That won't happen here. I highly recommend purchasing

Hard to get this to cut melons. Metal version works much better.
