The inside of the door must be taken apart. Review the procedure on YouTube to make sure you have the tools required. Once installed, it worked perfectly. Good Luck.

Luckily I did not experience any of the issues as other reviewers. The unit installed correctly and easily. I watched a YouTube video on how to install and felt like Neo from the Matrix. I did need to get some 3M 08609 Window Weld for the clamps.

I bought this for a 2004 Toyota Camry for which the motor was starting to sound like it was dying. I have minimal mechanic experience. For installation, I used the 1A Auto video series on YouTube. It's been several months now since this was installed and it hasn't had any issues. The part was well-lubricated and installation was easy.Considerations:-Make sure you have a 10mm socket/ratchet or wrench, as Toyota parts are all metric and not imperial.-It took me around an hour, but I think a second do-around I would finish in 15-30 minutes.-If you're having trouble getting the part to fit , remember you can plug in the driver's door console back in to raise or lower the window platform, which will expose the site you place the motor/regulator.-This is an all-in-one motor and regulator unit. A bit more wasteful than buying your broken part individually, but it's much easier to do this than to change out just one part.

Product arrived promptly and was easy to install following instructions and on-line video I looked up.Quality equal or exceed original equipment manufacturer.Don't waste your money on Toyota Original parts .This works great.

This is the 2nd one I have purchashed (other was for my car) It is actually pretty simple to install, and well worth it. For a dealer to install you are looking at minimun of 300.00..............
