I have had this iPad pro 2024 11" inch cover and keyboard about a week. So far it works as described in product description. The IPAD pro is to replace my almost 10 year old MacBook Air. Protecting and having a functional keyboard is important to me. This makes it easy to carry with me in my backpack without worries of scratches or worse. It looks nice too. It was super easy to setup and although more $ than others, I feel a good value for money. It feels durable although there is no protection for the cameras. I will update this review if necessary.

I purchased this product for a home iPad Air in March 2024. After less than a year of very light useโapproximately a few hours per week, solely for monitoring smart appliances and camerasโthe keyboard has stopped being responsive. The issue appears to be that it cannot be charged at all. I tried two USB-C to USB-C charging cables, but neither works. The battery may have degraded, or there could be another hardware issue with the keyboard. The iPad functions perfectly and works independently of the Typecase Edge Keyboard.

This case is hard and durable. The iPad magnetizes to the case. It has a slight bend to angle the screen. Itโs very easy to use and charge. It lasts for a very long time. Itโs light weight, compact and easy for traveling. The keyboard lights up and connects to Bluetooth.

I bought this for my dad as a Christmas present. The iPad is magnetic to the case. The keyboard lights up in different colors, which is fun. Itโs very easy to use. The keyboard isnโt complicated to figure out. Iโm actually looking into buying one for myself.

I like this keyboard/case due to be it good looking and well-made. While I agree with some other reviewers that the magnet holding the iPad to the case could be better it mostly works well if youโre aware that it has to be correctly placed. I like that the top of the case bends back at an angle. I have had previous keyboard/cases from this manufacturer for other iPads that dontโ provide an angle and this is definitely an improvement. The keys press evenly and effectively and the mouse pad is good. I wondered at first if the keyboard was a little small with keys placed too closely together, but that has proved to be an a non-issue. The case is light, sturdy and well-made. The only complaint about the material is that smudges easily and has to be cleaned often to remove those smudges. However, sanitary wipes are effective in keeping it clean. This is a good value for the money and I recommend it for anyone needing a keyboard case for their iPad Air.

I got my iPad Air 5th gen a couple months ago and have been looking for a nice keyboard case. My wife found this one and I fell in love with it. I wanted one with a backlit keyboard, track pad, and the floating iPad design (like the Apple Magic Keyboard). This one checks all of those boxes and then some. keys feel great and typing on it feels pretty natural, even for my big hands. All of the shortcut keys are pretty handy. Both hinges seem to be pretty solid. One of my concerns with this style of case was the iPad shaking or moving while typing, but turned out to be a non issue because the iPad mounts to the case with a pretty solid and strong magnetic connection. Unlike the Apple version, this one has a built in battery which makes it slightly heavier and requires you to have to charge it separately (itโs USB-C), but for a third of the price, itโs a sacrifice worth making. Iโve only had this keyboard case for a couple of days, so this review is based off my initial impression. However, I expect it to do well because it seems to have an excellent build quality. This will be by go-to keyboard case for quite a while and would recommend it to anyone looking for one with the same features I was.

I purchased this case to replace the Apple-brand Magic Keyboard which I'd been using with my iPad for over 4 years. I had no issues with the Magic Keyboard, which is lightweight and does a great job. But, as mentioned, it's lightweight, and eventually it just started falling apart.The Typecase keyboard case is much sturdier, and therefore heavier, which is a bit of a mixed blessing, like added weight while traveling. It does the job well, but there are some serious limitations.There's no battery indicator, so the first notice you have that the battery needs charging is when an annoying red light starts flashing at you. Even if there's an hour or two of battery left, the blinking light is so distracting that I can't keep working.Second, if you want to use your iPad in the vertical position, you're SOL. The Apple case simply flips open 180 degrees, so it's very quick and easy to switch from horizontal to vertical. But the maximum opening angle for this case is about 40 degrees, so to use it vertically you have to remove it from the case completely, leaving it unprotected. I'm not sure why this particular design decision was made. Also, the available tilt angle during use is pretty limited.Other than those drawbacks it's a good case. The keyboard is comfortable, I like being able to choose the backlight color and intensity, and it has pretty much the exact same functionality as the keyboard on my Mac.

Impressive piece of tech! If you're looking for something that will allow your iPad to approximate a laptop, this will do the trick. Biggest drawback is that it doubles the weight and thickness of the iPad, so it actually feels like a laptop, too.

Keep in mind that this keyboard IS NOT even close to Apple's, I put 4 stars here because I knew that beforehand so I wasn't too upset while using it.Key differences:- The iPad can't tilt in an angle greater than 90 degrees, which means when you're using it sit in a chair for example it'll not be ergonomic to use, you'll always try to tilt it more and get frustrated it won't go.- The touchpad is OK. Not sure how to explain it, but if you ever used Apple's trackpad or even the magic keyboard's trackpad you'll notice a huge difference, it's easier to use the iPad's touchscreen directly rather than using this keyboard's touchpad.I'd consider it a budget investment when you don't use the keyboard much, I use it only for very specific tasks since I already have a macbook & mac studio, I only bring the iPad to quick meetings or when I want to get some work done during brekky.

I love love love love this keyboard. I think itโs way better than the Apple keyboard for its price and it works exactly the same. Def recommend for those looking for a dupe for their iPad.

Se ve como un magic keyboard pero tiene diferencias como los colores de la retroiluminaciรณn. Creo que le falta tener un indicador adecuado del estado de la baterรญa... el que se pudiera cargar directamente a travรฉs del iPad... pero por el precio realmente es un excelente producto.
