Got these for a book shelf to replace the grey, greasy pipes that came with the shelves. Look better and the threading section is shorter, so not as much exposure of the threads which I didn't like on the original pipes. Good quality. Come packages in foam to separate the pipes so they don't get scratched in shipping.

These beauties came so carefully packed in foam and were so nicely machined that it seemed almost a crime to use them. Cost was far less than my local orange big box, and of better quality.A win / win for me.

The walls are much thinner than what you would buy in the big box stores. These are okay for crafts, but no worries near the same as what you think they are.
