This product is NOT pre-configured, I paid extra to have the time-saving benefit of it being pre-configured. I ended up paying more and then having to spend an hour programming it myself. The ubiquity product is excellent but this vendor is less than honest.

I have installed several of these and they work great and are easy to configure. I have just installed two in the last week. They provide good coverage for short and long distances (i.e. over a 1/4 mile for the ones that I have used.)

These work great. I was able to beam internet from my house to another building on my property. I did have to watch some YouTube videos to figure out how to get them set up and make them work. The instructions that come with the equipment are not that straightforward.

The thought that these units are reconfigured is a misnomer. They are two units in a plastic bag with factory settings. Fortunately, they are not hard to configure.I could not get the units to communicate no matter what elevation or angle I tried. I was only trying to go 200 feet to an outbuilding.I thought that resetting them and trying again might work. I couldn't remember the IP number for one unit and pressed the reset button. It broke off.I then looked at the other unit and the Poe adapter had stopped working. Unplugged and plugged back in. Same result.

Not sure what "pre-configured" means. There is a detailed setup video on youtube that walks through the config, watch it! Next, actual install of equipment. There are a lot of things I wish I had known before starting. The biggest issue I encountered was running the ethernet cable. The head of the ethernet cable is quite large, therefore I could not use the existing conduit to run the wire with the head attached so I cut it off. I certainty could have drilled a new, larger hole thru the wall but did want to do that. Even with the head cut off it took 2 hours and great difficulty to get it to feed. My next problem was self induced, I bought a flat ethernet wire, BAD, BAD move. A flat ethernet wire, at least the one I bought, is nearly unrepairable. By that I mean, if you have to cut the plug off to get it to fit through, in my case conduit, or make a repair, good luck. Only the 4 solid color wires were identifiable. The 4 white wires with colored strips were missing the stripes. Next problem with the wires is they are so small, much smaller than the normal tiny wires in an ethernet cable you need an electron microscope to work with them. By the time I realized my wire problem I was in a pickle because all I had left to do was attach a new RJ45 plug. I ordered new wire and an ethernet RJ45 repair kit. Once the supplies arrived I decided to attempt the repair of the flat wire. Sitting on the broiling black roof for 90 minutes trying to line the wires up and guessing which white wire went in what order I finally crimped the plug. Keep in mind, my white wire order was all guess work and to my shock and utter disbelief my guess worked, I had done it. Based on my success I must have missed my calling as a vascular surgeon. The Loco M5 works great and I would buy it again.

Seller said this was pre-configured but to what that is was not revealed.I did a hard reset and configured them myself. They both needed a update on firmware, being over two years old installed.Once I did the reset everything worked well. Did the configure to pair them and all came up.Nice units but do not believe they come configured.
