Pre-configured set-up worked well and the support was awesome. Had to initially troubleshoot why I didn't have internet and found it was actually a new Netgear router setup issue, not a Ubiquiti issue. Would purchase again!

I got this to extend the Wifi from inside the house to an out building. I just mounted them both so they are facing each other went into my controller adopted them and they work. They are also great when we are outside to provide coverage for the back yard as I have an AP in the out building as well. They perform s expected so they rate 4 stars.

Not only is this awesome for applications like server and registry but also if you have wifi enabled smart devices you can control them from quite the distance

My parents own a large plot of land that is mostly almond trees. They have their house, up on a hill, while the rest of the land is flat where the trees are. They also have a rental home on the property. We needed to setup Internet at the rental house, which had none. We also needed to add some security cameras, at least temporarily, as the rental house is being repaired after being destroyed in a fire a year ago. Between the fire and the rebuilding process, the rental has been broken into and vandalized many times. With construction taking place, we needed added protection. Because my parent's home is on a hill and about a quarter mile away, it could be seen, so I figured a wireless bridge would be the easiest method of getting Internet there. I purchased this pair of Ubiquiti NanoStation devices. It was actually cheaper sold as a set here and they were already set up for AP and REMOTE. I did make a bunch of tweaks to both prior to installing them but they are working exactly as I expected them to. My parent's Internet connection is only 20 Mbps down and 5 Mbps up (a far cry from my 1Gbps up/down at my place), but over the wireless bridge, there is no issues with it forming a bottleneck. My parents' hardware is only compatible with 100 Mbps anyway (the limitation of the primary network switch is that it is old, but it is still functional).
