I'm using this light in my music room, about 25 by 20 size room and it does a great job of creating a club like atmosphere for my parties. I think it's an excellent light for the money I paid and recommend it to others. I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. Proceed with confidence. It's a good product.

This product is exactly what our band was looking for. Easy to use and easily mountable but stand alone were just as great. The variable modes were all useful and the patterns were bright & flowwy in production and in sync with the music. We love these lights!

I put together a light pole for some backyard parties and this is one of the lights I mounted on it. The documentation is severely lacking, but I was able to figure out the majority of the settings and what they do. I was a little upset when I found out that Master/Slave DMX using sound reaction doesn't work across lights of different design. I'm not a DMX expert, but I figured there was a standardized algorithm for chaining together multiple lights for sound activation and have them sync up what they do. Once I read that doesn't exist, I abandoned chaining and set all my lights to sound. They all work great now, but you can tell there is some divergence in patterns depending on what is happening. I'm not looking to program my own lighting patterns and run a board at this time. For some reason, this is the only light that I have to unplug the DMX cable from in order for it to work properly. On my other lights, they will ignore DMX signalling when set to auto sound modes, but this one won't. If the cable is plugged in, it simply moves in a linear path, back and forth, with little pattern changing. As soon as I unplug the cable, it goes into full automation mode moving across both axis and changing up the light patterns. My kids love this light the most!
