This ukulele hanger kit consists of a set of finished wooden dowels you screw into the wall, and that's basically it. There's a cutout flatter side to help keep the ukulele in place. It is very specifically for a ukulele as the dowels are pretty short, though, it could probably do for an electric guitar too.The wood is smooth and polished but I feel like it could've used some neoprene padding or something to prevent any scratching.This is why I say it's probably better for display than regular use as while it can hold a guitar securely (when out of children's reach anyway), it also risks damage with repeated use. If the instrument is just sitting there I'm sure it's fine.I would recommend acquiring some stick-on padding to apply to the pegs.
