Not 100% rock solid, but it’s a portable stand so that’s close to impossible anyway. With that being said, this stand is great. Sturdy enough and gets the job done. Adjustments are a bit hard to tighten, but nothing crazy. Great value for the money.

This stand at first can be tightened to hold your keyboard/drum machine etc. but over time it loses its ability to be tightened and stay up. Not really a quality product.

I had previously used this stand and loved it enough to order one for myself. Small enough to put in a backpack, and sturdy enough to use anywhere. Mine also arrived almost a full week sooner than I was initially told.

I think it's this particular one but the adjustments on the side to tighten are really stiff and hard to turn. I have another one just like this one and it's not like that. Possibly a refrub you sent me????

Pretty heavy but that means its heavy duty and let me tell ya....its SOLID! Holds my 15" MackBook Pro perfectly. The rubber on the edges keeps it from sliding around and it's the perfect height.

UPDATE: I have now been using this stand for 6 years since purchasing in 2018 and it’s still as durable as day one.This is a wonderful stand. The twist lock is easy to loosen and tighten and holds where it is. The build is very strong and feels like it will last, even when being adjusted and set up over and over. It’s a heavy stand compared to others in the price range, but for me, that’s more of a benefit than a liability.
