Some of my jewelry seems to come out a little cleaner than other pieces. I put in y bathroom sink so it won't vibrate off the counter. The jury is still out since I don't understand why it cleaned some pieces better than others.

I was hoping that this would clean my wedding rings. They are the only jewelry I really wear. I was disappointed that the vibration was not very strong and they did not clean the jewelry alone. I had to manually brush the stones. That negates the reason to have a jewelry cleaning machine. The size was good. Many larger machines seem to be sold and I didn’t need anything big and bulky taking up space.Other things of note were that this machine did not come with any cleaning fluid. It also doesn’t have a basket, you have to fish your jewelry out with some other item (I used a fork)Overall, I would unfortunately not recommend this item.

I've never had one of these before, so i wasn't sure what to expect. The jewelry hopes around a little inside and I think I can see it working. When I take out the jewelry, it is so shiny and clean. I'm enjoying this very much.

This "ultrasonic" jewelry cleaner is nothing more than a powerful vibrator motor strapped to a small plastic basin. While it does make similar nice ripples in the water like they show in their product images, the cleaning action is totally different. This is just a strong agitation, like sticking your items in a bottle and shaking it. However, an actual ultrasonic cleaner can cause cavitation within the water (by *actually* hitting frequencies like the claimed 45KHz in the listing), which can do a better job at cleaning items, especially in tiny holes/cracks.That said, it is still pretty effective. For example, using it to clean off buildup of skin in the frames of your glasses is well within its capabilities. Not entirely on its own; you will still need some running water or scrubbing to completely finish the job (which does defeat the purpose a bit), but it definitely helps the job go more-smoothly and require less work than if you had done it all yourself. Also the built-in battery has at least lasted 15 minutes, however I haven't tested it much beyond that as I have yet to find a suitable surface to attach this to that doesn't make me fear for my plumbing from the vibrations, or need earplugs.Unfortunately though, that powerful motor it has in it makes an awful lot of noise, once suction-cupped down to a surface (which you need to do, or this thing will walk all over the place!). While the rubber suction cups do give a little bit of a cushioning effect, a lot of the vibration is still transferred into the surface you adhered it to. So your entire sink/tub/countertop/table will be buzzing and vibrating alongside it. Keep in mind what strong vibrations will do to whatever you attach it to; you may end up with loosened screws/nuts in the table or whatever, or you may end up with broken items if a glass "dances" its way off the table due to it. Additionally, it's difficult to remove it from a surface you've stuck it to to drain away the water when you're done, without splashing it everywhere. For what it is, it's not bad. I would almost even recommend it if it claimed to be what it actually is. However, with it falsely claiming to be an ultrasonic cleaner, I really cannot recommend it.

I ordered this cleaner to clean my retainer and night guard. I found several deficiencies with this product:It runs until the switch is turned off, unlike my previous cleaners that had an internal 5 min cycle timer. It has a strong vibration and is very loud- a problem for me as I want to use this in the morning while my spouse is still asleep. The instructions are very short, incomplete, and confusing- they refer to removing and replacing batteries, yet it comes with a USB charging cable. There is a light- is it UV or a plain blue light? There is no inner lock, so if you turn it on without the lid in place you can directly view the light. Dangerous if it is UV, but nothing in the instructions mentions the light and there are no specs. Most importantly, it didn't clean my oral appliances.
