I tuned my piano. First one I've ever tuned. I figured it out on my own. Used a free app on my phone to get the frequencies right. Not sure what most of the kit is even for. I got by just using the rubber wedges and the wrench. Honestly don't understand why anyone who owns a piano wouldn't have one of these. It's like having a lug wrench in your car. Also I had no idea there were multiple strings for each key O_o

This is a decent kit for a beginner tuner. I think professional tuners would want something of a higher quality and definitely with more tools in the kit but for my purpose to occasionally tune my own piano, it does the job just fine.

I used this kit to tune up an old upright for my daughter but I'm no expert. I'm glad I got a hammer that is nearly 12 inches long because our piano is very touchy in the upper register. Just tapping if handle was enough to bring some strings in tune. The wedges and felt were very help in isolating strings as well. I should note that I was concerned that the hammer might be made of soft pot metal but happily it is not pot metal and it sturdy.
