I was originally putting the chlorine tablets in the filter but was getting rust spots where the filter output was. I decided to try this so that it would float around the pool and distribute it a little better and have not had any issues with it. I do like the ability to adjust the rate in which the water is allowed in so you can distribute more or less chlorine based on your needs. I would highly recommend this product if you have a steel stock tank.

We have always purchased the cure character chlorine dispensers for our pool bc, we'll they are adorable and bring lots of "summer" vibes to the pool. Well for the last few years then ones we have purchased have been filling inside with water, water which is so hard to remove from within the characters. Not to mention the twist is never strong enough to hold the bottom compartment where the chlorine goes so they always end up falling off.These here work SO MUCH better in that there is no bottom twist. The twist is on top and you drop the chlorine tablet inside and toss it back in the water. They are have slots all along the bottom so water never gets inside the top, as it is just full if air which helps keep it floating.So far I love these! And I intend to buy more if they last!

This collapsable floating chlorine floater is very reasonable, and super easy to use: open the chlorine floater and it instantly opens up to a 7 inch in diameter, floating chlorine holder! When you first open the plastic bag that it comes in, you may wonder, how am I going to fit a 3” chlorine tablet in there, but then, remember it is collapsable and opens up when you pull on it. It does the trick! It floats around the pool with the 3” chlorine tab and does it’s job, just like the more expensive ones you see in the large box stores!

This chlorine floater works ok for the price but it’s not as durable as the others I’ve used in the past. The lid can get stuck and trying to remove it caused a crack on the handle. While it’s a little difficult to remove the lid at least the lid isn’t falling off like most of the other ones I’ve tried. On my old floaters when kids were playing in the pool I’d find that the lid fell off and the chlorine tablets would be at the bottom of the pool. That didn’t happen this year while using this floater. Its collapsible design means that you may have to fiddle around with it to make it straight when adding tablets. I like that the lid doesn’t fall off easily but I’m disappointed that it cracked just trying to open it. The crack didn’t make it unusable but I have to be careful now because if it cracks anymore I’ll have to replace it.
