Checked switch with an ohm meter before i installed it, short in the switch. Amazon refunded me as soon as i reported the defective switch.

I used this item to replace an electronic switch in a ceiling fan in my RV. It was more than half the price of the replacement part from the manufacture and I believe it will work better. I now a variable speed fan instead of a four-speed fan and it Is easier to turn on and off. All the info that came with the fan is in Chinese but you can get the info you need from the purchase page.
