Used this to build my own tripod, a cheaper version of the bog death grip. Everything feels good, clamps down nice and tight.

I bought this to replace the top on the Caldwell BR adjustable rest but in order to do that I also had to buy an acra swiss adapter that I could attach to the front rest using the 1/4-20 screw. This clamp has eliminated a couple major problems with the Rock BR top, it's easier to level and holds the rifle more securely, I really like the way it works.

This is a must have if you do a lot of hunting in a ground blind. You can simply add this to a tripod and it will easily hold your rifle. Makes firing a lot easier when you are trying to stay steady and quiet. Clamping and loosening is simple use the wing nut on the side of the clamp. Made of metal and very heavy duty. You can get two of these and basically make a portable rifle sled if you desire. Great product.

It's a quality part and great for the price but not quite as durable as the high priced options out there. It functions exactly as described and does the job well. The rubber pads on the inside of the clamp are thin but effective. They are soft rubber that grips well. It also comes with a replacement set of pads with an adhesive side in case it's needed. It has worked great so far but I'm leary of overtightening the clamp so as not to strip the threads on the bolt. However, it does tighten up well and it holds my Savage .308 in a Boyd lightweight stock. I use it more for lining up a shot and then after you take it reset. I don't really get a follow up unless I take it out. .308 is pretty hefty though so the recoil is expected. The new stock makes it pretty light as well.

Well this is one heavy duty clamp! It weighs in at about 18oz (514g). If this shape and form factor works for your intended use, I think it’s worthwhile under fifty bones. Both mounting holes work as they should, the Arca rail easily clamped into tripods, and I just generally found it all to be solid and smooth. The only downer is really the weight as it adds a lot to my carbon fiber tripod and makes the whole setup weigh over five pounds (~1.4kg).
