Finally got mounted on boat. My boat is a little longer than trailer and had straps at a bad angle. Installed these and looks better. Don't know how much pressure they can take without bending but so far doing a good job.

I used this to substitute as a seat belt mount in an old fire truck (fire trucks usually don't have seatbelts). The truck had 3 of the needed 4 seatbelt mounting points, but there was nothing on the right (center of truck) side of the driver's seat that I could use. When I went looking for a bracket I could use, I found these. Since they are meant for tie-down straps for a boat, I figured they'd be plenty strong for a seatbelt, unlike typical hardware store brackets that are meant for lighter duty. When I received them I was happy to see that they are indeed nice thick metal that seems quite strong, perfect for my use. Well, except I only needed an L-shape with two holes. Maybe I'll cut the extra lobe off eventually, but for now its working great.

To weak of metal for hold downs

I got these on the test program when I was remodeling my trailer and decided to put trailer mounted straps on it. These did the trick and hold up well with the multiple trips in and out of the water. It makes strapping the back of the boat a breeze and gives it a good clean look. These are built of steel and looks to be painted in corrosion resistant paint. They are very easy to install if you have basic mechanical skills. The price is on point for the product. Well worth the investment and ease of use.
