I have had a long time fear of slipping on the ice while walking. I have 2 dogs who collectively weigh 200lb, my ice fall fear has been magnified. These grippers are easy to use and very effective. One slipped of my shoe that I wasn't aware of, but I was able to put it back on more securely and continue my walk with ease. I am very happy I found these for the winter walks with my dogs.

I’ve had these for a little over a week and most the spikes on one side is gone. The grip wasn’t to great to begin with and it not being able to deal with ice - the intended use is a waste of money.

I have heard about grippers for a while and was pretty skeptical on how comfortable and helpful they are. Tried them on New York streets after a snowstorm when walking the neighborhood with ice and snow and sleet all around and loved them. Very comfortable and make the walk absolutely steady without loosing my footing.

They work well, but I have to keep them on q pair of shoes because I don't have the hand strength to get them on and off. They fit securely. Though the heel portion has slid down a couple of times, it has never slipped off. A little awkward to step on at first. I definitely feel the pressure of the spike plate, but worth it for the ease of mind that they're working.

Gave these to a friend who recently moved into her new home. I was concerned as her driveway is steep and she has to walk to get her mail on what could be slippery conditions. She's used them and they give her peace of mind in not slipping. An excellent purchase.
